The Central Electricity Board (CEB), under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities  in collaboration with the Development Bank of Mauritius (DBM), officially launched the Household Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Grant Scheme on Saturday 25 July 2026 at CEB Station at Curepipe.

Under this scheme, eligible households may benefit from a grant covering 25% of the cost of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system up to a maximum amount of Rs 75,000.
