Meeting with Ethiopian Delegation at the DBM Head Office
We are pleased to inform that on 27 July 2026, the Development Bank of Mauritius (DBM) welcomed a delegation from the Development Bank of Ethiopia as part of a working visit aimed at strengthening institutional relations and promoting cooperation in the field of development banking.
Key discussions focused on:
- DBM’s business operations and development banking model.
- Financing mechanisms and loan products offered by DBM.
- Support provided to entrepreneurs, SMEs, and other economic operators.
- DBM’s role in promoting economic development and entrepreneurship through accessible and sustainable financing.
The two institutions also explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation, including:
- Knowledge sharing and exchange of expertise.
- Capacity-building initiatives.
- Sharing best practices in development finance.
The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both development banks to strengthening partnerships, enhancing cooperation, and pursuing future collaboration in the field of development banking.
